How can we help?

Step-by-step guides for running a paid Telegram channel or group on MemberBot — create your own membership bot, connect payments (Stripe, PayPal, crypto, M-Pesa & Telegram Stars), build subscription plans, and manage members automatically.

New here? Setting up a Telegram membership bot takes three steps: 1. create your bot with Telegram's BotFather, 2. connect a payment method and create your plans, 3. add the bot to your channel or group — it handles invites, renewals, and removals automatically. How members are added and removed automatically

The whole lifecycle runs itself

Once a plan is set up, you never touch Telegram's member list by hand. The bot handles the entire join-to-removal cycle for you.

Step by step

Payment succeeds. The bot instantly creates a single-use invite link to every channel/group the plan unlocks.
Member joins. They tap the link and are in. The link can't be reshared — it's one-use.
Reminder before expiry. Shortly before access ends, the bot messages them to renew — but only for memberships that need a manual renewal (one-time M-Pesa/crypto, or a cancelled subscription). Auto-renewing subscribers (card, PayPal, Stars) aren't nudged since they're billed automatically.
At expiry, auto-removal. The bot removes them from every chat the plan covered.
✅ Payment received! Here's your private access:

⏰ Heads up — your access ends tomorrow. Renew to stay in.

Renewing re-grants access

If a member renews (or stacks another purchase), the bot re-grants access and cancels the removal — they never notice a gap. Lifetime plans skip expiry entirely: no reminder, no removal, ever.

Tip: Because removal is automatic, an expired subscriber can't linger in your channel — your paid content stays paid without any manual cleanup.
